WICSCBS varieties, produced by the West Indies Central Sugar Cane Breeding Station, come from Barbados. The sugarcane breeding station in Barbados is one of the oldest in the world. Its varieties have an excellent reputation in the Caribbean region and Africa. Visacane supplies these varieties in batches of around 30 varieties per year.
